Art Fancier was set up in 2024 by Gowri Siva.

A former lawyer whose passion for art initially drew her to collecting and then to studying (a BA in History of Art from London University) and finally, guiding at the Royal Academy of Art and the Wallace Collection since 2018.

​

As a Guide-Lecturer at the Wallace Collection, she delivers the general Highlights Tours for the public as well as private tours and hosts evening receptions for events booked at Hertford House.

​

She also regularly gives short talks on discrete pieces in the Collection ranging from sculpture and furniture to paintings, and conducts the hour long Collection in Focus tours on Ceramics, Sculpture and Furniture. She is also an accredited speaker for the South West Kent Federation of Women's Institutes.

Apart from a love of the decorative arts, she enjoys French Modernist art, American Abstract Expressionism and all things Italian.
